WHAT IS IBB LOOKING FOR IN ASO ROCK

It was with shock that right thinking Nigerians got the news of the former military president of Nigeria, Gen Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (rtd)'s intention to run for the the highest political position in Nigeria.
IBB as fondly called was a ruler that legalised and glorified crime of all sorts during his days as military president of Nigeria between 1985 and 1993.
He killed many military officers and others including a top journalist by the name Dele Giwa. He annulled an election thought to be free, fair and the wish of the people. To show his disregard for the Nigerian people, he blatantly refused to attend The famous Oputa Panel to clear his name from the numerous sins connected to his name and administration.
What we hear and see is this same man telling Nigerians that he would like to be the president of Nigeria once again.
My question is what is he looking for in In our presidential abode AKA Aso Rock.
Does he want to take many steps backward again with his dirty style of rulership?
Does he want to kill more of our eminent men when they challenge him?
Does he want to escalate money laundering and advance-fee fraud?
Does he want to revive drug trafficking as was celebrated in his days?
what actually does he want to do for Nigerians?
May God in heaven forbid that he gets there!

OPRAH:ALL NIGERIANS ARE CORRUPT

Recently Tv "megastar" Oprah Winfrey(left) is credited as saying that all nigerians are corrupt no matter their level of education.

She went far as saying that America should sever diplomatic relationships with the world's topmost corrupt countries among which Nigeria is number one according to her("Transparency International").
It is very pathetic that Oprah could ascribe to a larger population, the evil act of an insignificant number of persons in the world’s most populous black nation.Oprah’s conclusion is based on the fact that a Nigerian was caught with $500,000, which was alleged to have been stolen from a foreigner through the Internet fraud popularly known as 419.

Oprah had sponsored an hour-long programme, which ran for several days on the CNN, with the sole aim of exposing the clever tricks espoused by this group of Nigerians to con their victims.I don't know why America and Americans are regarded as Sacred Cows because Americans are committing heinous crimes against children and women, nobody has tagged all Americans or America as murderous. So, why should Oprah call all Nigerians rogues because of the sin of a few bad eggs?Oprah regularly tells her life story: how she was sexually abused by close relations, how she ‘walked the streets’ (Americans’ euphemism for prostitution), etc., but nobody has ever deemed it fit to tag all American men as incestuous because of Oprah and others’ experiences. She did drugs – just like the typical American teenager, but nobody has cast all American youths in the mould of drug abusers! So, why should an individual that is supposed to know better sentence a nation to odium for the infraction of a tiny fraction of its population?

Is she clean enough to call Nigerians rogues?
It's possible she is not comfortable with the fact that a Nigerian(Dangote) is richer than her.

Oprah should review her sense of judgment.
If she is the type that uses action of few to judge many she should call Nigerians geniuses since Philip Emeagwali (Nigerian) is regarded as a genius for his inventions in the computer world and geology.

WHO WILL RULE AMERICA?

The American presidential elections have entered a very decisive stage and each of the candidates (Sen. John McCain and Sen. Barak Obama) have been trying to make the country and the whole world to believe he has what it takes to lead the most powerful country in the world.
Sen. Obama(left) is seen as a good talker who is widely admired by many americans, he attacked McCain's(Top) camp and tried to make us believe he is the one the cap fits.Due to his popularity, Sen.McCain once described him as celebrity politician.

Vice president pick of McCain, Mrs. Sarah Palin replied Obama by saying Obama would not be able to lead the country. She said their oppponent has not written any law for the country but has two memoirs about himself. The speech was so good that a frontline politician likened it to a one-two punch by Muhamed Ali.

As the election date draws closer one prays that a good person occupies Capitol for the next four years or what do u think?

ABU DHABI GROUP IN SPORTS

Ladies and gentlemen, raise the curtain and welcome Manchester City Football Club onto the world stage.
A takeover of the club by the slightly ironically named, but mega-rich Abu Dhabi United Group -- an investment vehicle for the royal family of the Emirate -- has catapulted City from a mid-sized mid-table English Premier League club to a force that could soon dominate European soccer.
Events moved quickly. Staggeringly so. After agreeing to the takeover in principle, City's new owners-in-waiting had only 30 hours to strengthen the squad before the European transfer window shut. A few weeks earlier, a $20 million bid for Roque Santa Cruz was the height of City's ambitions; now it suddenly had the financial clout to bid for any striker on the planet. Manager Mark Hughes, like a kid with a $50 bill in a candy store, wrote his list, and what a list: Mario Gomez, David Villa and Ruud van Nistelrooy all apparently featured.

According to a top member of the group they want the club (Man City) to end the season as one of the top four clubs in the premiership, and they intend to make the big clubs in Europe feel the club's impact as they intend to buy the best football legs in the world, to play in the Champions' League.

A report by an English football site has it that this group is over 10 times richer than Roman Abrahamovic, the owner of Chelsea, wow. This will really give the Chelsea boss a run for his money.

The way it is now, money rules the world of football.

Much Ado About The President's health

During the presidential campaign of the president of Nigeria, Alh. Umar Musa Yar'adua i got a call that he was dead and did a lot of people meanwhile he slumped in Lagos and was flown to Germany for treatment.

Before the president won the election he came out boldly and told nigerians and the whole world that he had a protracted kidney ailment,he also told us that he had been visiting Germany for the same since the 1980's.

As a result many people realised that Yar'adua was a kidney ailment patient, some prayed he should die, others prayed he would live long and finish the good he had started.

Just early this week(first week of september,2008) the president's whereabouts became a public question the Federal Executive Council said he went to Saudi Arabia for a lesser hajj, rumours had it that he went to carry out kidney transplant in Saudi Arabia.

My drift is, everyone that likes nigeria should pray for her president to be sound enough to carry out his constitutional duties.Let's stop waiting for when he will die, lets work together to see that we contribute our quota to make his 7 point agenda a reality

God bless NIGERIA
